Save on operational costs by using the right oil

The compressor is the heart of the refrigeration system. In order to sustain its efficiency and low operating costs, it must be properly lubricated. The lubricant in an ammonia compressor must provide protection against friction and wear, and also serve as a coolant.

Although there are many different types of oils, not all serve well in severe conditions. Poor lubrication can lead to dry-running and oil carry-over, and at some point, it leads to shaft seal failure and unexpected costs. On the other hand, the right choice of oil can save you money.

RM Support, together with Next Lubricants, explains this in detail on the white paper.
